I replaced my ’06 Civic’s plugs at around 60K miles, and didn’t put
dielectric grease between the spark plug and the coil boot. At 120K miles
I replaced the plugs again, and two of the boots had stuck to the spark
plugs, so when I removed them the boots tore. So, I would highly recommend
putting dielectric grease on the plugs/inside the boots, when changing your
plugs.
I was all finished installing my spark plug on my 06 civic and tightening
the plug cover bolts (as shown in the very last shot 3:45) and on the 2nd
bolt barely tightening the bolt broke off at the top. Now I’ve been
searching all over on where i can find the replacement part for this. How
bad is it to drive with one plug cover not bolted down until i can get the
bolt for the plug cover replaced?
Thanks for sharing this vid. Going to try to do this myself this week! Can
you do a video on changing Transmission Fluid. I also have a civic si
(Ep3). Thanks!

Super helpful, super tidy job.
Yeah, buy a new car! LOL
