I run all my wires through there n then into a grommet on on the side there’s no problem with it not sure what ur getting at here only bad thing about this video is the wire exposure and it not going through a grommet
Iv ran my wire like that for like 3 years and nothing interfered with it and it beat i had 1 12 inch sundown with a Sony amp from Walmart and every time I went some where no one believed it was 1 12 til I popped the trunk and saw 1 12 in a prefab ported box yeah those was my rookie years when I was a broke teenager but we did what we had to do
I did that first time i yanked it before i sold the car, these days there is yt to watch how to do things… ive done many cars sense then going through the firewall… i look for empty plugs or piggy back off anther used one it i must
Only reason my car is set up thru the door and fender is bc I can’t find a single whole in the fire wall I can put my line thru I done wired up prolly 10 systems this is the only car I couldn’t find a whole n the fire wall that I could reach
I just straight drilled a whole in my firewall and put a rubber gas hose around it to protect the wire. “It’s just a shitbox we don’t care abt the car enough to do it right it was supposed to blow up months ago”
On a 2012 Civic the only really good option is running it through the fender well and there's a grommet on the firewall on the kick panel. Of course you don't run the wire through the door jamb.
I have done this before and it did not end well I ended up wearing a hole in the wire over time and it shorted out and caught the rubber surround on fire I almost lost a truck that day

Took me 15 minutes to get 2 1/0 gauge wires thru my OEM firewall on a 2019 Toyota Camry. Patience really is key
Just go by the boot by the power steering rack by the steering shaft that’s what I did
this makes me feel better about my wiring
Trunk battery
The firewall is behind the battery ffs
Please dont cry
why u breathing so hard gang
I use to do that when i hooked up my systems. It worked fine everytime
