I have an HRM 215 (I don’t know the year) and I have had it for a few years
and it has a really bad vibration at high rpms. I know the crank shaft
isn’t bent, and it ran very smoothly when the blades were engaged. However,
it died yesterday to bad rings and I am working on getting it fixed. But
what do you think about the vibration?

TxRaNg3Rs says:

can you put a new crack shaft on a new mower

Hi Jeremy, my clutch handle doesn’t seem to be working. When I push the
handle in to go, it barely moves. What can I do to fix?

I like how you can repair this without spending money on expensive parts.
This country needs to get back to making good products that last, and get
away from all this foreign crap.

What do you use to edit and record your videos? And could you make a video
on doing so all I have to record is my phone and can’t find an app for
video editing.

Ok.but how do you take out the cluth plate?

Kathleen Spellman says:

Hi I took my blade off sharpened the blade and placed the blade back on but
the does not turn now locked up what could be the problem? A repairman told
me that I needed a new blade holder. Why would a dented blade holder lock
up the turning of the blade? I just want to make sure before I spend 40.00
on a blade holder……

Good repair

Kathleen Spellman says:

Oh I forgot it is a HR 214 and I removed the filter and now the carburetor
is leaking…Maybe I put the spacer backwards??? Or maybe the float and
jets need to be cleaned. Is it possible that a crack in the carburetor is
present? How do I know there is a crack? They are charging me $250.00 for
the whole repair but it sounds like I could fix this myself to save the
$250.00

JEREMY FOUNTAIN says:

250 is a little high for a blade holder and carb repair….

Nice sound repair 🙂 The other pin looked a bit weedy in comparison to the
bolt you welded in, its nice when you can repair something and not just buy
the whole part and slap it in. He wont break it again, well not that pin
anyway 🙂
