Have a 08 crv. Blew the head gasket at Mt Rainer and drove it back to Spokane. Changed the gasket and had the head machined and still running great
This may sound very unexpected, but I would love a revival of the Honda Prelude, a sports car made by Honda from 1978 to 2001, an EV Revival would make the Prelude name pop as Prelude stands for 'the beginning of something better', as in the EV phase of our vehicles. (Whether its actually better or not) the company sees it that way, so it makes sense to kinda put those 2 together. NSX and S2000 just don't seem like 'new beginning' or "EV era" names to me.
I just bought a ‘23 CRV hybrid sport (turbo 4cyl) and it is a blast to drive.
Honda is really missing an opportunity with their sports cars since they have the best engines in f1, best aerodynamics for the car(fastest car) and a generationally talented driver. They are missing a big marketing opportunity with Redbull too.

Forcing crap on people they don't want. Ring a bell? It should.
Was hoping that Honda would go all in on hybrids and come out with some crazy new tech in that space instead of jumping into EVs. EVs just don't make sense outside of big cities. Rather disappointed in Honda the last number of years, they've been far too conservative in their designs and tech and have not done anything significant besides the Civic Type-R of the last few years.
Boo hoo on Electric Cars. Don’t want anything to do with it.

Honda should’ve kept the HRV small, that was the best selling point it had, You wanted something small but not a civic.
The country cannot support the roll out of all ev. The grid cant handle a hot summer day, now throw in evs. Wake up people!!

Back in 1993 we purchased a Civic diesel what a mistake that was a Isuzu engine! it blew two turbos in two years and build quality not that good…
A “bad” Honda or Toyota? A “bad” vehicle is the one that leaves you stranded. That Buick Century that grandma left you will get you home. Kia’s, Hyundais and the bastard Fiats ( Yugo’s, Zastava’s, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) won’t. Those are the people that buy “warranty’s” on those TV infomercials, rather than understanding that there actually are decent reliable vehicles that don’t need TV infomercial warranties.

It kind of makes sense then Honda is reluctant on making EVs, they are the largest ICE producer in the world after all. It would make sense they want to keep that around for as long as possible.
Bought a new 2009 crv at about 40,000 miles it started burning 3 quarts of oil between oil changes ask the Honda mechanic why is it doing that said he didn’t know why. Keep bringing it back they never did figure it out. The dealer told me they didn’t want me or the car back at the dealer ever again. Traded it in on a Toyota rav4 100,000 on it never had a problem with it. Fu.k Honda.
