My daily is an '02 EX damaged almost identically. Core support wasn't as bad so I hand 'yanked' it back it works. And it took me awhile to figure out but you're very correct about the hood hinge. My bumper cover was also salvaged. New hood & fenders.

My Aunt just junked an 05 Civic that was hit in the left rear. Had less then 60k on the clock. Would have been a good parts car for you. It’ll be interesting to see how you go about this.

Mother's mag and aluminum polish will make those headlights clear again. Just put a coat of carnauba wax on them every 6 months.
it is amazing how far the shock can reach from an impact. the car hit on the passenger side and metal wrinkles on the other side. I can only imagine the damage to a unibody
Hope you pull in some Honda guys with this. I have three Honda civics that I want to eventually do as well. I will not live long enough to do all the projects I have planned. =(
