You can push the boot latch on which it closes and locks the boot that way the boot light will turn off.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic. The lights in this video are not at all like the lights in my car.

I have an '02 Civic Si Hatchback. I did LED upgrades on my parking lights. Worked fine. Just bought suggested LED upgrades for reverse lights at Walmart: Sylvania 6000k type 7506. That's what the bulb selection center said anyway. The bulb plug ends matched those on my incandescent…none of the other options did. Fivured I had a winner. FAIL! They don't work. The sockets are good b/c the incandescents work fine. Do I need load resistors? I thought those were only for blinkers.
