Last week we pulled the CRV and tacked up the piece of the inner pillar we had to replace. This week we will finish welding that piece in and install the outer panel. We will also get the doors fit and the hinges on for the last time (hopefully). By the time we are done, it should be all ready for paint and a lot less pain than I expected when I started.

Why do you overlap the dogleg? Would it not leave a bump or require more filler to smooth out? Is this because you cannot put in a backing plate like the b pillar?
