Cable regulators are too easy. The gear/spring assisted X pattern window
regulators with tracks are challenging. Especially when you need to remove
just the motor.
The rollers are easy, i’m lazy and only replace the one broken one. I leave
a un broken slider, and a new roller. All cars have their issues. When you
work alot it sucks bc you have no time. It was nice when I was working in a
shop. everyday I fixed something after hours.
Impala has both rear windows off the tracks…I need to pull the panels and
fix that. I just leave the windows shut for now…hood ride like you said.
Wait, truck also has something broken in the linkage and the rear door
won’t open from the inside. Oh, and the Impala is also missing the front
passenger grab handle, and I still have front speakers to put in that I
bought 2 years ago. Wish I had time for this stuff! Your vapor barrier came
off easy but I always tear them!
LOL !

Thanks for documenting this procedure. Very helpful. I recently did the reg
on a ’99 Mountaineer and have to install one on a ’00 Caravan.
I never showed that it works!
Good video !
