If it is a TBI , throttle body injection 305 or 350 it should have a AFS 74 oxygen sensor.

Can you have a bad o2 sensor and not have a check engine light on? I'm running rich, idle a little rough when warm. Truck is 95 Tbi 350

Thanks for the video. It helped enormously in changing this in my 1995 K1500. I used a Bosch sensor and it works fine. Engine is running smooth again and idling at around 600 rpm instead of 1000.

great video… I have a 95 k2500 7.4….at idle and going down the road, it surges and will not idle down….have changed everything…pulling hair out!!!
Okay so i went ahead and tested the Tps its working great. But i noticed that when the engine is warm and the rpms start going up and down and the truck wants to die if i push in the egr diaphragm and let go it starts to idle great maybe i need a new EGR?

Nice, mine is idling high in park & neutral it drops in gear but rpm surge up and down when warm i have no clue what the hell it is i tried everything any ideas?

I've cooked 'en with flame to clean up an 02 sensor in the past but I rather fit a new one…Average price here for an aftermarket unit is close as fuck is to swearing 100AU$ so that makes a 4 sensor job pretty expensive…Our GMH cars like to put the plug on top of the gearbox too…Guess how many people think the 14 is the fuel and the 1 is air….E85 is 10.5:1 and race methanol is 6:1 and Nitro can be a ? because of the variables and that Nitromethane creates it's own oxygen but at 80% nitro/methanol,,the fuel usage is 6 times that of petrol…You can do the numbers…It's late and I'm drunk..lol..Your ECU would be a plug and play deal by way of a chip change like mine..I'm not sure of the hidden "burn your own" programs that may or may not be out there but I'd sure like one.
