Help me out here please, I have a 03 Suburban that has a Viper 5305v. Problem I been having is that sometimes I cannot start the truck with the key, (engine does not crank). Only way I can start it is with the remote start, but once I turn the key and press the brakes I get a few lights on the dash that stay on. Also it only stays in 3rd gear it seems like. When it does turn on with the key everything works fine and no lights on dash. What can I check and or how can I disable the kill switch because I’m thinking that’s what’s causing it and or the oem anti theft of the truck.

Great video–much respect to your skills!

I have the Viper 5806V Led 2-way security & remote start system. In your video is the same wiring diagram for a 2003 Silverado 1500 ?.

Savannah McCullough says:

Have you had any issues with Chevys passlock when installing the remote starters? I’ve had two Colorado’s (08 and 10) they both had passlock security issues. I want to install a remote start, but being stranded worries me.

Hey man. I have a 4105v 1-way. I’m going to install this on my own and I would like to know if I would need the DB3 on my 2005 chevy Tahoe.

Juan Vigil says:

Ran into your channel by accident I guess , I once was a Mobile MECP installer from 1985-2006 worked for Clifford Electronics and built a lot of custom systems in Beverly Hills for the Elite. I left the industry and got involved in Fire Protection and networks I love my Job. But it all started in the mobile industry , for you young kids there was no you tube back then . I am impressed in your attention to your wiring and the connection method you used. That by my experience is the best connection. I have trust issues on people working on my vehicles but you Sir I would happily drop them off and not watch great job, subscribed because I know workmanship when I see it.

Juan Moya says:

How did you program the transmission type and run time

Juan Moya says:

Thank you so much

Manuel Ramirez says:

I’m doing viper install on my 2002 Escalade. What module would I need?

Sebastian Turco says:

Hey I have a 2005 Silverado and ordered the same kit, the only thing is mine didn’t come with a deidb3. Do I need that to make the whole system work?

Todd Forslund says:

I have a box in my truck that says viper 450. Does this mean it has a remote start installed?

Miguel Nunez says:

Is 99-02 harness the same to 03-06?

Fred Radon says:

My installer set my remote (Viper 4115V) so it has to be pressed twice to start. How do I set it to be just one push? I dont see that option in the installation guide.
