Replace just the glass part the mirror
Well, I did learn how to replace mine, but, oh guys, your video isn’t great. The work the technician did around the mirror was blocked from view by his shoulder and back. I really couldn’t see what he was doing when he actually removed the mirror. I’ve done enough of this work in all my years that I’ll figure out the finer points. I’m not sure an inexperienced home guy could follow this without problems. Sorry guys. But, hey, you did help me! Thanx

OK I replaced mirror no problem with this video instruction until I went to put the handle bolts back in and evidently the nuts that you would assume would be welded in were gone? But is seems very secure with all else tightened down. I'm guessing the nuts are somewhere in the bottom of the door but I'm not tearing it back down to hunt for them.
OK so what about just cutting and reconnecting by color the wires old harness to replacement harness? I think I would do more damage trying to remove the panel !LOL
Well i have a 09 gmc serria and i dont have that handle you took off first. So it cant be 07-13
