How do you clean the glue off?
You know why cause they let a woman run GM and all she cares about is an electric cars. I’m not saying a woman can’t run a multi billion dollar company but when all she cares about is electric cars she’s letting everything else slip thinking we won’t buy them.

Was there not a glue strip around the new screen that you just remove the tape and stick it down??
Local audio shop wanted $550 to do this. After Watching this video and ordering the replacement part on ebay I was able to do it myself in one hour and only spent $60 for the part. Thank you very much!

I have to thank you for this video and the links to amazon, I've been looking for years off an on to fix my ghost touching, which started happening some 5 years or so ago – I have a 2016 colorado diesel. I but the assembled unit as there were times when i got mad and started hitting the old one… oops, but the remove and replace + re-install was easy. So far, so good, just gotta see how it holds up throughout the fall/winter.

Mine has a "hidden" compartment behind it. Will mine be the same as this? I couldn't tell if yours has the same compartment. It raises with a button; comes straight up.
I put in the new screen and now it just black. Triple checked connections. Has anyone ever got a bad one out of the box?

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado doing the same problems changing channels changing the cluster in the middle of my dashboard hanging up on calls I opted to go with just replacing the whole assembly put in the new assembly and it seemed to work for all of about 10 minutes and it's right back to the same thing any suggestions
Thanks for the video. My 2018 is starting to act up. Started out with the radio not switching channels properly, then different apps started overlapping each other on the screen, answering a phone call with Bluetooth locks everything completely, and the GPS screen keeps zooming all the way in so all you see is a giant road with you in the middle of it. I've about had it with this POS. Otherwise, the truck has run flawlessly.
