Great video!

@christophermay5877 says:

So what can kit etc parts are recommended / needed to do this all to my 2015 Tahoe?

@LbzRHINO says:

Extremely well made video! Thank you

@davidjeansonne3706 says:

Great Video definitely a good tutorial

@4familyman says:

You are AMAZING! This video has been a life safer. I’d be cussing at least 4 times as long at all of the stupid clips and special connectors.

@joshuavillnave3804 says:

How long does this take total ?

@Steve_MP5 says:

Can’t you just tune out the 4cl? I’ve seen people do that online as a fix instead of doing this. Just pay a few hundred bucks to turn it off so it stays in 8cyl. It’s 2 credits.

@rasco81 says:

This is ridiculous

@mbm2355 says:

Amazing. Probably looking at doing this myself, so I appreciate all the effort that went into making this video. Started the Yukon XL 8.1L up a few months ago and it sounded like there was a wrench bouncing around in the engine beneath the intake manifold.

@Tvorys says:

Danny! Thank you thank you!! I have a 16' Silverado & unfortunately I'm getting ready to delete the DoD in it. Great video my friend! Its gonna be what helps me get through it!!

@princejonas6960 says:

Hi, I am a mechanic, and I have a 2015 GMC yukon that is misfiring in cylinder 3,5, and sometimes randomly in different cylinders and it brings out white smoke whenever that is happening sometimes a lot sometimes mild. So I don't know if that is the valve that is failing or the rings.

@JaimeSanchez says:

So how much does it cost to do this job?

@antoniofelix1241 says:

I broke the timing chain tensioner trying to compress it to slide in the Allen. What do you recommend atracking that lol 2wd Silverado 5.3

@daveware4117 says:

I'm by no means a master mechanic, but it kinda seems like it might be easier to yank the engine to do this work.

@kief4diamonds says:

Imagine if gm would just NOT put dod and afm in their engines. Then Add a better piston and rod fairly cheaply. If i were them id be making the most bullet proof engines i could and EPA can suck it. The CEO looks like if you asked her to hand you a crows foot shed hand you a 3 jaw puller.

@BigDaddyChumChum says:

Why the hell would u change format. This is a great video. This is what people want car channel. What happened. The last year ur videos hardly cover car repair. Not to mention the like few minutes. People who watch car channels want l9ng videos. Not Milwaukee Milwaukee doesn't need help marketing

@elvatoayala5713 says:

ecm needs to be tuned to run right. It will start in 4 cylinder mode and run like that until you reprogram the ecm

@KeithWBales says:

Dude, im just 2 minutes into your video and can say… you rock! Fantastic instruction and video. Thank you.

@RobertLambert-b4c says:

I'm in the process of doing this right now and I'm finding that trying to walk the chain off the cam gear to be EXTREMELY difficult. Not real sure how you guys managed to get it off without damaging something. It's worth noting that there a several videos out there showing how to remove the oil pump without removing the pan. This DOES NOT apply to a 4WD as the pump and pan are completely different.

@jorgegarza6976 says:

I think I move the camshaft pulley and now I have cylinder 7 at top

@shanerains85 says:

I just have one question. Isn’t TDC supposed to be on the compression stroke? Not the exhaust stroke?

@JuanMendoza-ff4sh says:

What's the reason for doing this

@benjaminyoung2403 says:

Finally ready to start part 2! Assembly Mudda flunkers! So thankful for these videos. Also I'm on a 5.3 2020 with only 76k miles. Anyways see ya on the next video

@benjaminyoung2403 says:

Man thank you so much. This video is helping so much.

@jamesotto2562 says:

I just got a 19 5.3 burb, I have the AFM turned off, but will be doing the delete when I get a chance. These are awesome videos.

@bobocaterpillar3697 says:

here's a better idea … take that shitty engine OUT and put in a summit vortec 350 it will outlast the vehicle.
NO emissions. NO weird timing crap. put a throttle body on it and electronic ignition and NEVER touch it again.

@saltrocket1909 says:

So did you keep the cam phaser because you didn’t delete the vvt? Any help would be appreciative. I’m trying to understand all this.

@ed-lee321 says:

approx how many miles were on your Denali when you performed this service?

@russells451 says:

Do I have to remove the high pressure fuel pump if I'm just doing the heads without the delete
