Great set of videos! My ’96 just went on the fritz. I was quoted $600 parts and labor! This will be a huge help :-)

Good Video. After having a new pump sitting on the shelf for 2 months and trying to find someone who’d put it in for me at a decent price I finally decided to tackle it myself. Only problem I had was the quick connect fittings, one came off without problems but the other two I just couldn’t get, so I snapped them off and pulled them out with needle nose pliers. Cheapest I could find someone to do the job was $150 and one other guy wanted $395. Now I have a working gauge again, yahooooo. Thanks

Okay, so did you hook the frame side first? You sort of have to twist it to get it in the frame, then try to bring the front one around. Mine hade that long bolt, which should allow you to at least get the nut started. Do you have your fuel fill tubes hooked up and everything? This would sort of ensure that it is where it’s supposed to be. I hope this helps, good luck!

i have a 98 bravada i did the job on, problem i am having is putting the fuel tank back up. the straps are in the correct holes but don’t seem to be able to reach the top of the frame in the back and the hook in the front.the tank is jacked up high enough and looks to be in but i can’t see where the hook and screw are supposed to go in and the straps ( spectra st123) don’t seem to be able to reach the hole in the back and the front doesn’t reach the hook and screw. any tips for me would help
