I just changed my battery following several of your steps but if you just take the one set nut off the over flow and loosen the other nut for the radiator over flow you can slide it over a couple inches just enough so you don't have to turn the battery
Couple of things, the positioning of the battery on the side before lifting out, made that a lot easier. Both out and in. You can just loosen the firewall screw and remove the other two, then you can just swing the bar out of the way. I watched a couple of videos on this procedure and yours had some really good tips.

Excellent Video!!! I have just one Question! What is the difference in the Platinum Battery vs the Platinum AGM Battery? I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 w/ the Platinum and was informed by the O`REILLY web site it would not fit my vehicle and not recommended.
2nd battery on your 2015? What is average life span?

I’m gonna be honest. Chevy should be damn ashamed of themselves. I just spent the last hour looking like an idiot in the auto zone parking lot because of how they decided to do these batteries.
Take that clamp totally out instead of just loosening it will help a ton during instillation of the new battery. Just did this on my 2018 Sierra thanks for your help
