I see the broken, white plastic, heat door clip in front there. These can still bought new at your local GM parts department desk. There is now also an aftermarket aluminum replacement now too. Google it.
Please show how to remove these clips and the exact locations of mounting hardware in the future. This was great, except it took me 4 hours because I couldn't find diagrams or videos with parts and pieces that are out of sight holding things in place.

Is an 87 different? Because mine didn’t just pull out like that , it had an extra rod to remove
