looks good,,but if it were me,,in a rat rod truck like that i woulda used a
beer keg,,woulda gave it a really neat look and a hell of alot cheaper.keep
up the good work Pete
hey pete just a heads up but theres no need for aftermarket “custom” tanks
on these trucks my advice for a rear mount tank is get one from an s-10
blazer they are usually 20 gallons and mount in the rear of the frame might
have to make some mounts but they are cheaper to buy than that tank you
installed there oh yeah trucks looking sweet
Can you show me a good website to get a fuel pump? jegs. com Performance
Products 15346 this is what it would be for. Also, it’s a carbureted 318 v8
5.2l dodge w150. if that matters. I haven’t orderd the fuel cell yet
either, so if you know of a better set up let know! Thanks a lot. Ps Pete
your videos are great
fuel return lines keeps the EPA happy keeps the ‘fumes’ in the fuel system

pete fuel circulates so it dont burn out the fuel pump its a high pressure
system the fuel pressure regulator keeps fuel pressure around 38-40 psi any
extra pressure goes to return line / tank looks great !!!
hey pete…for the future reference with EFI engines and 2 lines… the
fuel pressure is aprox 60lbs in the fuel rail and it has to circulate back
to the tank with all the unused fuel…there is more than plenty…when you
gas it the pressure goes up to aprox 75-80lbs because the regulator is
vacuum operated…take off the vac line and max pressure…if the was no
return line the fuel and any crap will get stuck in the rail and finally
block the injectors…I hope that helps….
don,t you know a welder i have stanless tanks made for less then that at
are local welding shop and he is a motor head so he custom builds them for
the job and it takes him around 2 weeks find yourself a good welding shop
save some cash as far as fuel injection pumps i use pumps that mount
outside the tank hope this helps you save your clients and your self some
cash
Nice job on installing tank!!
