oklahoma outdoors says:

I have a big 4×4 and find it so hard to get into the engine compartment to
work on anything…so I have been eyeballing a topside creeper off amazon”
Traxion 3-100 Foldable Topside Creeper” to save my knees and back…seeing
you on your knees up on the rad support hurt me just watching and looks
like you need a topside creeper too…maybe get one do a review and when I
buy one I will use your link to get mine…how about it? $200 well spent
I’m hoping.

BILLSTMAXX :) says:

i have a rough idle and stall when the engine is cold when i start mine in
the winter
but when it warms up a bit 30 or so seconds it seems to run fine. is that
what this truck was doing?

I’ve used wobbles for years. Plus a lot less expensive than a Snap on set
of flex sockets.. Great Vid as usual.

dingdongdillybean says:

happy birthday Brian, great videos, and we all appreciate guys like you
posting this stuff, makes us smarter and gives us some confidence! I have
a 98 dodge ram and known for blown plenium gasket, and after a drive in a
snowstorm and using 4×4, it makes a humming noise with acceleration, sounds
like coming from engine, and water pump weeping hole isn’t leaking, in fact
nothing is at all, fluids are all topped up too… suggestions? water pump,
idlers, alt?

hector garcia says:

Hello Brian… I have a question, I have a 2000 silverado 5.3 and coolant
is going slowly to oil, the cooling system is clean, heater works fine, no
smoke out of the pipes, No overheating, engine looks clean, no leaks , I
thought it was a minimal crack on the heads and decided to try Blue Devil
but didn’t work, so should I replace head gaskets?, will it fix the
problem ? if you can give me an idea what would cause this I would really
appreciate it ( no check engine light on either )
Thanks in advanced

Danny Alford says:

love your videos! subed for life! i have a 04 4.8, its not throwing any
codes, but she dogs down when she start up (non cold start) and if i turn
the steering wheel and/or press the brakes she dies and thin dose not like
to hold the idle, could the gasket be the issue?

I can see you are getting good with your Spanish. Good job Brian, not

Frederick Bock says:

Brian, great job– regarding the truck running worse in the winter with
increased vacuum leak don’t you feel the colder temp shrinks things causing
more clearance between the head and intake thus vacuum leaks vs warmer
weather where distortion isn’t such a problem?

Gaston Mechanic says:

Great video.
Noticed you using the Autel Maxidas DS708.
We’ve had one for a year in the shop and it has worked great.
Most excellent on Euro cars and Asian.

I’m getting 0171 and 0174. Got a 2003 5.3. Idles bad when cold. Warms up
its fine. Other than that runs like a stallion. What is the cost to do what
you did at an independent shop? No way will I take it to a dealer.
Hopefully I just have a hose bad. Thanks.
