A mistake was made here. Was it Kyle Dubas agent, Kyle, Shanny? Dubas is someone I’ve always enjoyed listening to.
He’s smart, articulate and often a lot more open than many of his more experienced colleagues. One of the brightest minds in the game. You will not find another like him right now. He can not be replaced. I do not see anyone coming in and doing better. It is not to late to fix this mistake. The leafs have made the playoffs every year under his watch. The team has one of the best records in the league over he last 5 years. It just knocked off Tamp Bay this year and made it to the second round for the first time in over 20 years, Glass half full here. This team is good and getting better yearly. Fix this mess before it gets real ugly. Meet guys, come on, do what's best for the team right now. Kyle and Keefe have done a good job here…..wake up!!!
Seriously, what does the self-professed “insider” report on that we either don’t already know and can piece together for ourselves, or that’s so exclusive that it doesn’t matter whether or not the “exclusive” reveals itself in the next prime news cycle?! Mark hunter will make the tough choices. But shanahan over looked him and got rid of lou also. He cost the leafs a first and multiple other picks. This hurts the leafs. Never mind keeping holl, signing many players to no movement clauses in their final years, trading for murray, and giving unproven young talent huge contracts when they are in their rfa years. Dufas was not a very good manager. Lou and hunter left him with mathews, marner, nylander, reilly, and woll. He hasnt added much to that. Never mind yhey havent gotten anywhere near the eastern final.
