So since this is preloading your lifters and rocker arms, during a cam install while you have the wood dowels in to prevent the lifters from touching the camshaft so you can remove it would you leave those in while preloading or do you preload after your timing cover and all of that is reconnected? I’m just confused because I’m doing a cam swap and replacing the lifters while I’m at it. So at what point would be best to swap the lifters out I guess

Hello Coverman66 i wanted to ask a question my friend is trying to install a new GMC Sierra 2014 1500 motor 4.3 it makes a clinking sound engine he wanted to know if their a specific order for the rocker arm to be installed in order he thinks he might of messed up. if their is can you let me know he says on the Rocker Arms has numbers and letters LG,2H,3G,I5, 4G he not sure Please Help thank you.
