I have a 2005 Silverado with the 5.3 1500 4X4 and I got a used PCM from a 06 Tahoe with the 5.3 1500 4×4 and the number match mine. As soon as I installed the PCM and turn it to the on position it turns over like I'm trying to start the truck. Any reasons why? Maybe it does have to be flashed by GM.
