Hi, I have a 79 Camaro with side-post terminals connecting to the battery.
Can I follow these exact instructions to cut off the side-post terminals

Worked like a charm!!! Only problem was the wires for the truck were too
large for my stripper. Other than that the video was perfect.

Thanks for this video. I’m a divorced mom and thought this was all way to
hard. My son just recently left to go to college so it’s me- or my
pocketbook. You demonstrate clearly and your accompanying verbal
instructions are short and to the point. I will be checking in here more
often!

yarpos says:

nice to see straight forward , keep it simple, videos without the arrogance
that seems to overcome some presenters. Good work.

Karsten Jackson says:

I used this same method on my truck. But since mine is a 2002 model the
battery’s are different nowadays thus making the slack in my terminal
cables less so I had barley just enough to put the negative cable on. Do
they make extensions or do you have to replace the whole terminal cable?

Harry Haefner says:

No dielectric Silicone compound?

Mike Williams says:

Is this something anyone can do? I never done any mechanic/electrical work.

Chino Isftw says:

Thanks alot. Fixed my truck perfectly.

Nickie Peakler says:

Your video helped me out greatly today 🙂 My terminal had been bad for a
while. I kept putting off fixing it because I didn’t have the money for a
mechanic. I watched the video, went to AutoZone and bought the same
terminals for $6 & changed the dead one myself! Feeling kinda proud now lol
