A tool dude wearing Crocs? Seriously?

Good video though. Thank you for posting.

Well Tony, after waiting for over a year on several friends promising me to
install a new mailbox post, after watching your video, I did it my
self!!!!! Thanks for the step by step instructions. Other than digging that
hole, it was pretty easy. Thanks for sharing.!!

b says:

great channel name too

Plastic construction will not last over the years, the sun will destroy it
in no time. The only thing I like is the post digger, where can I get one
of those?

+hucker75 Seems like a stupid reason to live in a country with some of the
worst weather on the planet, among other issues…but have fun with that
immigration problem, I will walk to my mailbox. Have fun being lazy.

Ricky Singh says:

Very helpful video. Just a tip for some of you putting up a mailbox, I
would recommended Fast 2K Demonstration Video. It’s a lot faster and easier
than concrete. Hope it helped some of you!

I like plastic mailboxes better than metal mailboxes on wooden posts. one
day, i am going to move to Los Angeles California, and i am going to buy me
a house online with 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a
hallway closet in between the bedroom and bathroom, a clean basement, a
garage, a fenced backyard, and berber carpeting through out the entire
living room, hallway, and bedroom, and i am going to buy a plastic mailbox
that opens on both ends and put it on the other side of the sidewalk next
to the drive-way!

Steve Sutton says:

darn I just put in my post into the concrete and when I got in to see the
next part of this video I realized I got the wrong post. I got the one that
has the ledge on it. Maybe I should just chainsaw it off? I got the same
exact mailbox as you too lol

Billybob Raynor says:

So dude, I caught the small decorative flag in your front yard at the
beginning of the vid; where in Nebraska are you from? I’m from Fremont.
Thanks for the vid, it was informative and entertaining. Take care

WinAtScratchers says:

You can’t find your ho? Did you check the kitchen?

Serena Appiah says:

Great video, Tony! Ours is worn and needs replaced badly. After this video,
I know I can do it myself. Thanks!

Tool Dude Tony says:

They have them on Amazon. Thanks for asking.

Eric Williamson says:

Also, how long do you let the cement sit for before putting the mailbox on
the post?

otherstuffbybob says:

All your neighbors still watering the grass in the middle of November? Some
people forget all about winter time. I enjoy the shows Tony

Tool Dude Tony says:

Good idea, Roberto. Thanks

Dirk Diggler says:

Love the post hole digger. So much better than the clam shell type. The
only thing those are good for are busting up your fingers.

zestyy says:

was that a 5 ft 4×4?

Steve Balistreri says:

Nice job and very informative. Thanks

GGWdodge simmon says:

Like the stupid fucking neighbors always blocking it.

NashvilleLandscaping says:

Great video I enjoyed the process. Entertaining opening.

Tool Dude Tony says:

Hey Zesty, It’s a 6″ post. 2 feet of it are buried in the hole.

manny6584 says:

Can you pour the dry concrete into the whole then add water or is premixing
better?

Tool Dude Tony says:

Manny, There is a type of concrete that works like that. But most require
mixing. Check the packages and get the type you want. Thanks

philip schreiber says:

thanks for this… gotta put one in today

malcolm scott says:

really informative & entertaining …thx

Tool Dude Tony says:

How long you wait depends on the concrete. Typically you could begin work
in 2 to 3 hours. Just go easy and try not to move the post. Thanks

eclipzz214 says:

Thanks for posting this vid Tooldude. After watching this I was inspired to
go install my own mailbox. (been down for 4 days) I was going to wait for
some help but I said this looks easy enough so thanks!

Tool Dude Tony says:

You can rent post hole diggers for a few bucks a day.
