Best video thanks: )

redneckincanada says:

Hey where EXACTLY is that PCV valve located?? I couldn’t see it that well
sorry.

Lujuzr . says:

Great video man!! Thanks a lot!!

JoeMC7 says:

Great video – Does that method also drain the torque converter of tranny
fluid also? Thanks, My 1998 S10 has 74,000 and I noticed that the tranny
fluid was a little low anyways, so I figure I might as well do a tranny
tune-up also. Hope I can fine that bushing you are replacing, do I need to
replace that too? Thanks.

63lesabre says:

@samlaxrocks But if you wanted to get to it, the panel around the
instrument cluster is only held in by 7 mm screws and tabs. Remove the 2
lower screws on the bottom panel that your knees would touch on, then
remove the panel which will give you access to the top panel screws. remove
the two exposed screws, then the top screw in front of the instrument
cluster, one good tug, and you should be all set.

Glenn Jackson says:

I have 96 6 cylinder 4×4 will this work for that I know the 98 is a diff
body style

Travis Stiehl says:

@63lesabre Youd change it if it was biglots oil 🙂

63lesabre says:

I change mine out every 2 years regardless of extended life antifreeze or
not.

Em w says:

Yah know you won’t get covered in gas and tranny oil if you were smart and
had a pan under everything lol just sayin’ I’m no mechanic but I have a
brain…

kyle sylvester says:

You never want to run the transmission dry

sonyxploder says:

I need to swap out the oil in my tranny for some full synthetic shit, ramps
would be make things so much easier lol.

Daniel Clements says:

Where the Hell is the pcv vaulve on an 03 2.2s10? Someone told me it don’t
have one and I GOT to replace the valve cover is this try?

MrByaahh says:

Heeeeeh Kill Yoself!

Travis Stiehl says:

What about Diff. Fluid!! That shit gets nasty

samlaxrocks says:

@63lesabre Thanks a lot man, my mechanic said it was about $700 to get a
new unit installed but i think im gunna go that route, much appreciated!

xizzyraddx says:

Agreed, not a lot of people realize the differential fluid needs to be
replaced.

JDHammondman says:

Ya know, putting a thin layer of high temp gasket sealant (even though for
yrs it’s said not to) along the trans pan edging is a smart idea. Avoid
composite/cork gasket trans kits. Just a better route to avoid having to
solve any leaking and doesn’t hurt anything. Relying just on cold gasket
(with the low torque of the bolts) is pretty pointless. Just fyi

rugsr says:

thanks for the help lol next time dont let the fluid run all over the floor

Rafael Moreno says:

You guys were awesome, don’t listen to people calling you out for not
replacing every line and wire also. You knew what you were doing and now
you are able to help others with the same repairs. Kick ass fellas.

perroaskerosodelmal says:

really helpful …thnks

Nathan Bolt says:

Fucking love the song list in there, Ozzy, Metallica jeez man it was almost
as good as the vid

nick lemons says:

hey man I have had this problem with my 98 Ls s10 pickup, everytime I hit
around 40mph or higher it begins starts to idle weird it goes up and down
but only between 40 and 50mph, it also has been getting horrible gas
mileage, like 150 miles to a full tank, now that’s horrible. I have
replaced my spark plugs and wires, throttle sensor, fuel filter, diagnostic
test nothing came up but he said it could be the camshaft sensor, yet my
car starts and check engine light is not on. Im lost, help

Jordans03 says:

I wish I had someone like you were I live, everybody round here dont know
shit about cars & im just stuck trying to tune up a 98 park avenue… Im
bout to just say fuck it & pay firestone to do it

caymonn says:

How much fluid did you end up using in the end?

Rafael Moreno says:

You guys rocked you made me laugh plus you taught me a thing or two about
my truck don’t listen to all the haters the ones who point things out are
the ones who don’t even work on their cars

Phoenix Franks says:

After 7:00 I had to pull up “No More Tears” and watch it. You guys rock,
fun to watch and learn.

Justin Hall says:

Me transmission pan leaks…one of the bolt holes is stripped…time for a
helicoil lol

DeltaForceSFODD says:

Did my transmission change today(just dropped pan no flush)and ya i was
trying to be careful but i still got it over my arms.

PAMAROSHOUSE says:

hows the tranny running so far?

63lesabre says:

@JamesBondSim9 Every 100K

samlaxrocks says:

Hey, i have a 98 s10 LS pickup, and the screen that shows me the mileage
and what gear im in comes on and off when i go over bumps, its not the
fuse. it seems to be a loose connection, can you tell me how to get off the
panel so i can check? thanks

pottsisback says:
