Scotty, you really need to stick to the evaluation and repair side of this because you don't know squat about manufacturing! Leave that to the people that have actually done it, stick to what you know not what you think you know!!
In terms of honest silver money a gallon of gas still costs a quarter. Same as I paid back in 1965 when I first drove.
I stopped buying GM cars in 2014 and it was a Chevrolet SS (Sports Sedas)
My 03 & 07 trucks have electrical issues and can’t drive them anymore
I had a v6 09 g6 and sold it with 100k miles, change electric fans and radiator 2x , 1 caliper and the ignition coils in 8 years of ownership

With subaru, their power steering system always seems to leak under the pump. Mine is getting replaced right now.
