Ever see one of these 03-06 Chevy. GMC clusters with a dim lit brake light that glows all the time. Cant see it at all during the day, too bright in FL. Can see it at night. Key on. Key off does not matter, Dim lit. At night its even glowing a little brighter. flickering like it whatever is feeding it wants to cut power but it wont. Its not a standard brake light its just something in the cluster is powering the brake light led. Is there a resistor on it? Cut the power to the gauge cluster instrument panel fuse. Light is gone of course.
Next tip for DIY people, try not to touch the face. Finger prints don't wipe off fully, just smudge.
