GM vehicles with AFM/dod when you delete that system out of the engine you must plug the pressure relief valve in the oil pan that was once used in conjunction with that system! 14mm x 1.5 pipe plug 090-109 dorman.

Pipe plugs are tapered. The threads are straight. I'd use the drain plug with copper or aluminum sealing washer.
I use a VW oil drain plug.
Question many such as mine 2021 GMC Chevy Trucks dont have DOD because of the Chip shortage im always 8 cylinders did they do this at the factory?
Does this apply to the 4.8 lt as well?
