GM broken shift cable – how to replace

This video will show you how to replace the automatic shift cable in an American turdbox with the shifter located in the center console. The shift cable on this vehicle kept popping off of the transmission. All you need to replace the cable on this Envoy is a phillips screwdriver, other models of this platform such as the Bravada, Rainier, Trailblazer etc may have minor differences in trim.

Good deal! Would've been nice if the customer had it cleaned up a bit for ya. Thanks for the video. Gotta replace the cable on my 2005 Trailblazer. I need to check out that adjustment piece at the end by the trans leaver. ✌

Thanks a million buddy! I just replaced a transmission in a 02 Chevy suburban and I couldn't get the shifter into park! Plus I was wondering where that big ass rusty staple looking thing came from!!!!!
