I Wondered why they no longer have a fan on the outside of the alternator,
now its inside 🙂 🙂 Excellent Video :-)
Is the grinding part required? Is it possible to pull off?
I don’t want my truck to sit for days incase I screw it up grinding.
Very informative video on what bearings look like in the alternator and how
to replace it. I think the bearings in my alternator were causing squeaky
sound and one of reasons alternator is weak and draining the battery. I
don’t have all the tools that you have to change it and ordered a re
manufactured Bosch alternator for 85 bucks with free shipping from
California shipped to New York and should arrive today or Monday. I get
updated text messages to let me know where along the way the alternator is
on route with USPS. Although your videos are very informative, it is like
watching a silent movie and any narration you make before and after the
procedure would help as viewers can hear your reasoning. You obviously know
a real lot! The stuff in between when you fast forward because takes time
to remove so understood not to talk. Thanks.
Where r u located man ur good at your stuff perhaps U can help me
sometimes.
Great video man .
like it and subscribed.
you just slide that cold bearing in to that hot cover so easily , that was
a smart move .
60-80 bucks buys you a new one. Better than sawing off a finger.
awesome video , good job !
good brother what are the numbers of bearings you used for that
generator.??
thank you excellent job any body can do now, i am unlucky i paid £500 for
my vw sharan.
where do u buy the bearings?
and do you have to use a grinder to get them off
awesome video buddy.
Excellent well presented stuff.. Pete in Essex.
boss,u made it look nice n easy. please tell me the cost of that grinding
wheel you used thanks a ton in advance
smart but a lot work better pay 100 dollars new one with 2 years waranty
where can you get the replacement brushes for cheap? one more question. I
noticed you replaced (2) bearings. On my altima, it only shows one bearing
part number for replacement. Am I looking at it wrong?

Great video. One tip: a small two or three jaw puller would have made short
work of that bearing. They can be rented at most auto parts stores. A lot
easier then using a grinder to cut the bearing off, and less chance of
damaging the shaft or cooling fins.
shhhhh this guy talks too much
jesus..so many bolts n screws
Hehe the Hoven-and-fridge technic again !
Good video, learnt something with it !
Great tutorial–you’re lucky your wife hasn’t barred you from the kitchen.
Smashing job, repaired very cheap :-)), no burning of houses down ha ha :->
The carbon brushes on the regulator didnt look too bad eather.
Using expansion and contraction was a clever touch, we often forget about
the propertys of metal.
Why dont you speak in your own language and add the odd english subtitle,
much easyer than making two versions :-)
Your video is helps will save a lot of money to the car owners by doing

Great tutorial michaelovitch !! Many thank from Italy. Ciao.
One of these days I’ll have to take mine apart, I think the brushes have
seen better days.
Wear some gloves, that blade could’ve kicked on something and went right
thru your fingers.
