A lot of time with those parts you ordered for your vehicle especially for the door they want you to reuse those little plastic clips that are already in your door. I mean you can order them, but they cost twice as much then they have to be and only the manufacture of your vehicle has those clips unless you can 3-D print your own clips which I couldn’t for my little 99 Tacoma so I ordered stupid expensive clips
So I had a f150 door had the same issue power windows power locks and let me tell you your lucky you didn’t cut your hand open I dreaded having to replace my door handle assembly and the exterior part as well
Bro, hit the door mech with the gun cleaner lubricant in an aerosol can, use a lot and work the door handle. Let it dry and hit it with some lithium grease spray can, the dry stuff and it will work. I think I have had 6 OBS since they were actually new. I replaced one of those then never again. Hell, used the same setup on my 1973 bronco and works a treat.
Ah I worked for a Ford dealer and this was my specialty. Just did all my Toyotas doors clean lube rein install. It is good to have small hands. Always enjoy someone else. all good fun fun.

The door pull handle can be taken off and on with the door panel intstalled. Makes it alot easier to remove the door panel and install the door panel.
Don't worry I know how you feel about the doors I got 97 350 the way we get back doors open we got keep tapping the unlock button
