Ford doesn’t paint the under carriage. Rear ends springs etc. all my Ford’s had rusted rear ends. No big deal. Didn’t effect running of the truck. Ford truck until the 73 model year had rust problems because of Chinese steel. Ford had a recall to fix them. Not like Chevy that can’t keep paint on there vehicles.
