Lately the headlight switch on our tow vehicle has been acting up.
Sometimes it won’t turn the lights on unless cycled a few times or jiggled
a bit. This isn’t good as we are about to head out on our yearly trip down
south for snowbird season in the RV. The truck needs to be in tip top shape.
In this video I diagnose the problem and show howto replace the headlamp
switch in my 1994 Ford F350 IDI 7.3L diesel truck. It isn’t to hard and
saves us a little bit of money that can be used on fuel for our trip.

I have a 94 GMC 1 ton and my light switch is starting to act up the past
couple months. I have to cycle it a couple times and wiggle the rocker
switch to get the dash lights to come on. Hoping that I could spray some
contact cleaner and not have to pull it apart. From the looks of your
Molex connector it was shorting out, so hope I’m not that far gone. Thanks
for the motivationak video, I need to dig into my problem sooner than later
now that it’s getting dark so early.

If you push that button on the back of the switch the knob will come out
