You sir are an absolute legend. I am in the UK and I was told by Ford that
I had to pay £500 for an entire new manifold just to replace those tiny
plastic bushings so I made do with a work around fix using a piece of
rawlplug. We don’t have those Dorman parts here so I went on ebay and
ordered some from America. Thank you 🙂 do you know if they also do a
replacement cable for the IMRC? Mine somehow has snapped.

If the bushings are good and the IMRC is actuating at 3400 rpm’s and there
is no build up of carbon inside the intake manifold that’s keeping the
butterfly’s from moving smoothly….CHECK the cable alignment coming out of
the IMRC box, the cable routing should be above that pesky maldesigned
bracket that can allow the cable to go under it while you have it out and
are trying to fix CEL P1518.
