There is a battery shortage for a long time.
It terms of cumulative fuel savings, on the scale of the country, hybrid's make more sense than full EVs.
America is ready for electric. Key word about not having enough charging stations is TODAY. With most major automobile manufacturers having a majority of their sales being electric vehicles by 2035 and completely carbon neutral by 2040 and the fact that China and Europe want EVs sooner, no automaker can ignore them. It won’t be a problem finding a charger especially since you will be able to charge in under 5 minutes. Scotty is just salty because he wont be able to work on a combustion engine anymore. They will be obsolete

Brand New Junk! Thats what they are these days. Brand new and theres something already wrong with trans. VERY BAD SIGN!
My 2013 5.0 gets 15 mpg while stomping on it with city driving I don’t need anymore mpg then that $80 for 500 miles isn’t the end of the world lol
Good to know the 2022s have the same shitty wiper/turn signal switch. so it can break and wipers stay on just like my 2013 when I upgrade later on lol
I don’t like the 10 speeds every one I’ve driven it seems like the thing dosent know what gear it want to be in I test drove all the American trucks with that stupid transmission and at 40 mph it keeps switching gears the whole time I feel like it’s not going to last I’m happy with my 6 speed 2016 V8 F-150
Hi tech stuff will cost a fortune when it gets older. The DIY is screwed. Better buy the extended warranty is all I can say and hope the dealer knows how to fix this crap if they can.
Scotty, I drove I F150 with a 300 straight 6 and Grandma gear . If I don’t start it 2nd….. forget it .
Scotty, you want to do something. Show people how to make a self charging electric car, or a Troy Reed magnetic motor car.
Never loose your car if it has a manual transmission. And be happy for a long time.

I wish Ford would of made an f150 hybrid with the 5.0 V8. With the 10 speed acceleration is about the same vs in the old 6 speed the eco killed it. The 5.0 gets better mpg towing expecially in mountains. You wouldn’t be able to destroy that thing.
My 1992 F-150 with the 4.9L 6 cylinder has 220,000 miles and I expect many more as It burns no oil and still runs strong after a lot of boat hauling. I bought it off the lot new and I always used Mobile one synthetic oil . I would buy one of these new hybrids if it ever wears out however.
To bad it’s not a Toyota Scotty lol.
