what is holding the film on the glass? Water??
All that soapy water inside, lol. I don’t know. I have a luxury car, and I
don’t want its insides to get messed up. I heard that some of them even
need to remove the door panels, ouch!!! I’m very particular about interior
noise, and would hate to have that after my windows tinted.
were can i buy the tool’s you use to tint?
I did mine as shown, except the dryer and the 10 gallons of water used:).
I’m not a professional, but this is not rocket science. It went perfect.
You can’t tell i have folio on my windows.;:)
How hard is it to remove existing bad tint ? btw dude yum.
Anything against getting the glass out of the door and doing it on a table
or something? It seems a lot easier that way to my mind. Can’t imagine your
door electronics taking a fancy in all that water either.
Wouldn’t it be easier to remove the glass from the door, apply the tint,
then reinstall the glass?

For those of you who have tinted windows, how hard was it to get a drs note
for it? My dr was cool about it, but have many friends who could not find
any dr who would do it…
Damn this guy’s good.
I’d be pissed if they sprayed soapy water all over my door panel. I use
other products for that.
I hope the person who ever owned that car had flood insurance on it! haha

corrosion?
How do u knw if ur window is manufacture tinted or modified?
How did you do the cutting for the rear windshield since there is a
windshield wiper smack dab in the way?
Never use the customers car as a work table. Never cut tint ON on the
glass. Most tinters use a template so you never cut into or scratch the
glass.
Never be careless and spray water excessively around a customers car.

(the part where you cut the deges with the window as underground)..

Are some of these steps eliminated when you’re tinting frameless windows?
And do you always have to shrink the tint with heat?
This is a good tutorial, I followed your guide and completed my first
window tint.
for my first attempt 9/10 just the odd air bubble appeared after a few days
even though was completely bubble free when finished. why does this
happen? (just for the record this is not easy as it looks)
You guys leaving comments on soapy water etc… The car is a 2014 Ford. If
you have a luxury vehicle I bet a $100 that he would cover up yr luxury
door liner with plastic; but since you are slowing down the process, be
prepared to pay premium bucks.

I have tinted several of my own cars, oncludibg my 74 VW Bug, silver tint.
My ’69 Austin Mini Wagon, and my B2200 Mazda pickup, also in silver tint.
One of the best lessons i have learned.
RTI== READ TGE INSTRUCTIONS; so u peel off that protective liner. otherwise
you get a bubbly tint job, and everyone lnows you did it yrself.
Side mote; the original Austin Mini’s, have front windshields that a full
sheet of tint will fit and not show any light through. But use a light
shade; as a dark shade will make night driving i.possible AND Cops will
pull you over.

idiot proof; well almost.
