Bruce L. says:

That is the first time I've ever seen someone wiggle out the fan right before taking off the shroud lol
Do you take your socks off before your shoes?
Too funny… Other that that little bit of humor, it's a great video. Very helpful, thanks.

Kaleb M says:

Mine is a 2000 and the ac compressor is on the opposite side so therefore the removal process is different.

WorldRenownedCFE says:

6:55 take out the fan and shroud at the same time instead of manhandling the fan by itself, take'em both out at the same time it's easier.

Kraig Kearns says:

Very good job explaining how to do that. The only thing I would recommend is discontent the battery cable in case there might be an auto start device. If that fan comes on while your Working on it would be disastrous!

ROSALIO TENORIO says:

Im like good job

jesus Madrigal says:

The Backyard Builder says:

Do i have to drain the oil to change the water pump, noob question thnx

StarryDynamo7079 says:

Cut the shroud in two pieces using zip ties or small lock nut and bolt, or…..best option go electric fan off a Lincoln Mark 8 fan , moves Hugh mount of air, but pigtail for it and buy a fan relay thermal switch kit, or thermal fan controller with relay , maybe over ride switch in the dash. Done, better power more mpg

FRANK Widdifield says:

Motor oil on the oring for water pump??? Nice…. that'll lead to premature failure. Silicon based lubricant is best…

John Cromar says:

your old fan was a wreck ! What happened ? Looks like schrapnel took out the shroud. Good repair though.

BRENDAJASON1 says:

Can I replace the nose part when I was taking my fan off the threaded part broke off the clutch fan

ccprat says:

can show how to torque the fan to pulley nut please

Anthony Hamilton says:

Jaime Ritchie says:

Thank you, your video helped me removed my water pump.

Damon Mohr says:

I would do star pattern on the pump if you want it even. it's not a big deal, just something different
