Jeffrey Luteyn says:

Great video… very informative. However, I do not recall any mention as to how the new gaskets are installed. It almost looks like you forgot to install them. Were they on the underside of the new manifold?

Carlos Arce says:

Thank you Sir.

James B says:

Wasnt the job I need done but I love to watch you videos so I educate myself. Thanks for the upload.

HtownRO says:

I'm guessing you have to do all this just to replace valve cover gaskets

Hooksboy Automotive says:

I have a 98 f150 4.6 2wd. The work is a little more aggravating as he says without the body lift. I left the egr tube hooked to the egr valve. It is true as well to remove the alternator too gives you the room to pull out the intake. Make sure to clean everything. The reason I changed mine is the same misfire issue. The gasket will crack and let coolant leak onto the plugs. In my case it leaked onto number 4. I should’ve replaced my plugs while the intake was off but didn’t highly recommend that you do the plugs while you’re in there.

ednelo85 says:

I need to do this to my truck, 2003 f150 4.6 I have coolant leaking into the spark plug well

LORENA SORIA says:

GRACIAS TRABAJO PERFECTO

Brent Smith says:

Why not remove the upper and lower at the same time

trump is your president says:

Will work on the 5.4 as well correct?

All trades says:

I have no spark plug wires just coils why is that

lymelyte225 says:

Thank you for this video. It saved me some money and gave me an excuse to buy new tools!

Nicholas Korner says:

Is this the same process for the 5.4?

TigerAudioInc says:

I have a real powerful magnet I would put on the side of the extension that would hole the bolt in the socket. We have a leak coming from somewhere up there. Seems to be coming out of the rear manifold area. Is there a water passage back there that could fail? I'm wondering if a heater hose fitting gave out. We lost one of those a few months ago. Was a huge pain to swap. There are several others, same age. Almost 23 years old. Truck runs strong.

Rafael Jaime says:

I love 1A auto repair videos, main reason I buy my parts from them so they have a reason to keep making them

Casey Smith says:

My 02 expedition starts right up but slowly bogs and dies parked and while driving, but only when it's cold outside. Any knowledge on that?

Alex Mak says:

Michael Larcom says:

Do you have any videos of the upper intake manifold removal for 1997 Ford Explorer? There's a line on the driver's side front of the upper intake that has a clip you pull out and I like to know what it goes to. I hear a leak from between the upper intake and lower and when I pull up on that line it gets quite and my trans shifts late.

rishon osuna says:

Great video really helpful
