I did not have to remove the struts to change the upper control arms on my 2010 F150. It wasn’t easy to get the bolt back in but I was able to do it.
I have an 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis that also need upper control arms replaced as well. Can I use this same method without taking the brake caliber off?
That is the dumbest way to bolt those in. They should have put the nuts on the inside

I think I have a bad ball joint the control knuckle is laying on the spring that isn't normal right?
This video is wrong yes you have to remove the strut first
So…. definitely take the shock out first…. lmao
