Awesome video. Thanks for doing this. Unfortunately my last plastic trim screw was stripped to hell and back !

Thank you for making this, it took the mystery out of changing the emblem. Mine had the two sheet metal nuts holding the whole assembly to the grille, I had to remove them before the emblem AND bezel could come out. After taking those nuts out, the emblem pulled off while the bezel was still clipped in place in the grille. Not sure why mine was different. Thanks again, and keep the great videos coming!

Muchas gracias! Thankyou very much

On my 2014 Edge SEL, you have to take the black thin nuts off the replacement blue oval first. It secures the whole assembly to the grill. Do not follow these instructions for the 2014. I almost broke the tabs off the assembly trying to get it out. The replacement blue oval will not fit back in the outer oval flush if you put the thin nuts on and try and put it back on the grill.

Great video ! Very concise , by the way, what is the measure of the emblem? I need to replace the emblem of my car and I’m not sure about the measure .

Great video! I replaced the emblem on a 2012 Ford Edge. It is not easy to release both tabs. When one is released, the opposite clip becomes jammed from the shift in position. It is important to release one clip and push it out as little as possible. Only then will the other clip release. Pushing out both tabs at the same time would be ideal but getting two hands behind the grill was not possible. Thanks for sharing this information.

Very easy video to follow. Thanks so much!

Thanks for this. I just ordered a new black front emblem for my 2013 edge sport.. I used a carbon fiber wrap on the rear one which came out nice and I did the front too but it didn't look right so just replacing the whole thing. Great helpful video. Subbing.

Great video thanks

@69sexyladycat says:

Do you have the video to replace the actual grille?

@jeremyzackandlucas says:

I have a 2013 Ford edge SEL AWD and apparently those emblems are a manufactured defect. It seems like almost every edge I see the emblem is faded. It's so annoying because the rest of the car looks so good!

@Samantha053 says:

Thank you so much for this video! Precise and to the point! Really appreciate it!

Awesome video. I replaced the front emblem on my wife's Ford Edge 2013. Getting the two clips to let loose was the hardest part. Got it off, cleaned surface off, place new emblem on and lightly tightened the emblem back plate. I went ahead and replaced upper trim bolts and pop up screws then pushed on emblem to get clips to engage. Video was well done.

@godovermoney1124 says:

Not as easy as it looks.
My 2014 was different then what I see in this video

Part link doesn’t work

My wife surprised me with a used one 3 years ago and the dealership wanted to charge $130.00 to replace it. Well, it' Robert Hutson; par for the course. Great video; thanks.

Very concise and to the point instructions; I wish all auto repair videos were like this: all the information you need and no fluff. It took me 20 min to replace a completely faded front logo on my 2013 Ford Edge. The hardest part was to push down the clips on the old base+emblem and pull it out, but even that wasn't that difficult. Talking about tools, you also need a smaller socket to unscrew the old emblem from its base and screw the new one onto it (I did not write down the size). The link to Amazon the author posted does not work anymore, but the only thing you need to know it is 9"X3.5" Oval Badge Name Plate. Thank you, Martin! You save a lot of time and frustration for hundreds of people like me!

@cubeinside says:

Worked! Actually you don't have to take the top part off. If you have a long enough tool you can just push down on the emblem tabs. Thanks!

@michaelpowers3445 says:

Somehow my 2013 design is different. The part that is removed here is actually attached to the rest if the plastic grill with the nuts on the back of the emblem. And they will not remove by trying to loosen them. Somehow two hands needed behind grill to get under the nut to give back pressure while trying to loosen.

@dborg56 says:

Shouldn’t Ford replace them for free. It is their brand logo that’s defaced.

@centexsucks1 says:

The link for the emblem isnt working?? Do you have the full link?? Thanks

@centexsucks1 says:

This is such a great video thanks so much for taking the time to make this!! New sub here.

@davidsalmons5606 says:

Quite simply an outstanding video and just what I needed to see. Now I can go out and replace the emblem on my wife's 2011 Edge. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your knowledge with others.

@thefragrancecritic9136 says:

It’s a shame that Ford is using such a cheap logo that needs to be replaced after on 5-10 years.
