2003 F-150 5.4 V8. Code reader indicated miss fire cylinder 2. Plugs were changed 20K ago so indications are its the cylinder 2 Coil Pack (Coil Assy – Ignition Part # DG508 ). This is a simple how to vid. If I can do it you can do it. NO more check Engine light and truck runs and accelerates good now. I didn’t show it in the vid, but good idea to check your plug while your at it.

I spent all day yesterday trying to get my coil off of cylinder 7 on my 2002 F150 triton. It is RIDICULOUS how ford designed this engine.
Was it difficult to pop the fuel rail when you did it?

Something that I've learned. On coil packs for my truck it's $65 plus coil pack. I looked on eBay and found cheap ones from China. All eight of them was a total cost of $25. So I said what the hell. And ordered them. I tested the resistance when it came in they were 1.3 resistance. My new coil packs two of them were bad. But the resistance was 1.6. I've installed my cheap Chinese coil packs and my nice old truck. And the truck has never been better. Right or wrong it runs better. So here's we're going with this. Screw you O'Reilly's, AutoZone, discount Auto parts. Everything for my truck now I've purchased off eBay. For my truck and never been dissatisfied so far.
