Ridiculous setup for where they put it. Why not a panel behind the main open section of the glove box, like most of the auto world does. Big FAIL for Ford on this. It was so easy on my 2009 Prius and my 2006 Sonata that I would check it probably every quarter, sometimes just clean & vacuum, sometimes replace.

I hope this works on my 19 escape…

what a shitty design, thanks for helpful video.

Can you tell me if my 2017 expedition EL has a cabin filter? I can't find anything on it. thanks

Jeffrey Nelson says:

Thanks for your help, the old filter was black. But a poor design. I used nylon zip ties to scrunch the filter so it would fit, then cut off the zip ties and pulled them out. The filter expanded into its slot. Thanks for the video.

Great instructions but a stupid design. I love Ford but they really could have made it easier, just like on my 19 explorer. That was horrible. Thank you all, it kind of helped…lol…
