Very helpful video! Thanks!
Question, aren't you supposed to connect it to another battery or power source before removing the battery so you won't loose the factory codes & settings ?
Awesome video. Instructions were clear and precise.
I couldn't get the stupid terminals off.
Poor job cleaning battery, holders and terminals from corrosion ….
What about the resetting the body control module? Otherwise you get battery drawn and the conserve batt message on Ford One Touch screen at shutdown.
You guys are AWESOME !!! Thank you
This video is the best in YouTube search on Ford Explorer 2011 to 2019 for battery replacement. Disassemble Old Battery Negative first -> Positive -> Assemble New Battery Positive first -> Negative. After replacement, run engine for at least 1 minute to let car learn idling cranking, at least 20 minutes driving for automatic mission learning for MPU. If the battery low warning messaged before battery replacement, you need OBD2 scanner to reset warning message.
why did my car spark at me ??? and it was the negative
Great job but won’t this method loose all of your memory settings ?
thanks very much, it is very helpful.
Thanks big help… Had to do my 2014
