the 2 wires for on plug 2*
hi, what is the name of the blue tool that you use? thanks
I like how he says it the way should be said, 1 plug, 2 plug, three plug
Having an Explorer but 2002 with no CD player. Then my question: if
switching for one of these 2003 used Ford radios with CD player would be
that easy??? Or they wounldn’t fit because their wiring could be
different???
what about a 98?
good video i have those same plugs but now im trying to put a new cd player
in.. The plug with only 2 wires mine are yellow and gray with black line
were do they go to and what do i hook them up to? my harness number is
70-5519
Peace man , and nice evening , thanks for the advice and the Guide through
the Remove of the radio.Keep up the good work , ya got my voice bro .
Can an auxiliary input converter or an iPod interface be installed on this
type of Radio CD Changer? I have a similar stereo model in my 2002 eddie
bauer explorer, the only difference is that instead of the SAT button next
to de AM/FM, there is a CD buttom. Now, will it be just about the same
price installing a new stereo ipod/iphone capable?
will a aftermarket radio work with the dvd that comes on the eddie bauer
edition explorer
dude you saved my day. Great video and thanks for posting. I used a thin
screwdriver and was careful, it worked fine.
Which harness was used for this install?
YOU RUINED MY CAR PRICK!!!!!
@metalgalaxy Dash Board Removal Tool and you could buy it on ebay.
Can I install any stereo or does it has to be same size
THIS IS A 2004!!!!!!!!!
Can i do this to my 2002 for explorer, and how should i go about fixing the
cd error issue…cant get it to eject or anything at all.
You could install any other size stereo but you need the mounting bracket
for it. Car stereo shops carry the mounting brackets.
Should be the same but yours might be even easier if your unit requires a
removal key tools. Please check your owner’s manual.
i don’t want to unnecessary remove my stereo, is there any way to install
an aux in to my 2005 eddie bauer explorer?
I already have an aftermaket stereo in my explorer. To remove it i would
use the same steps?
I do not think so but please check with your Ford dealer. Even if it were
available I would not replace it with an oem outdated unit. I would replace
it with an up to date after market unit like Alpine or Pioneer.
hey bro there is no such thing as a timing belt on a ford explorer
Can u make a video on how to connect a aux port to that factory radio
You could buy an interface from ebay, look under keyword : FORD FACTORY
RADIO ADAPTER INTERFACE AUX INPUT, please make sure it fits your vehicle.
yea i didnt need the tool 😀 i just used a screw driver and it was a little
tought at first but after i got the first corner popped out the rest was a
breeze. i removed the after market and replaced it with the stock system.
my explorer’s timing belt popped and supposedly the 03 explorer, when the
timing belt poppes it bends all the valves so the whole moter was ruined.
but i sold it for 16k. Considering both back windows were broken and it had
a dent in the driver side door it was a good deal.
what are the 2 where for on plug 2. one is yellow and one is gray i think
Does the faceplate go back on easily?
