Do they work for daytime running low also?
just got the HID kit for my 2010 fusion cant wait to get them in
I have a ford fusion 2011 se >>> can you please give me the links for low
beam and fog lights ? Thanks
That’s the way to Do it
I can only speak for the 2010 model but no their isn’t any bulb out warings.
On another note how are they holding up so far?
yea see non of mine go out they just flicker bad as i speed up but
sometimes they dont but yea im gunna ask the dealer bout turn them drls off
Just do a retrofit
Thanks again man and thanks for the sub!
no real reason it’s just my understanding that you shouldn’t use 55w kits
for fog lights because they build up to much heat and it was just easier to
order 2 of the same kits. The 8000k 35w bulbs are very bright, I will post
a vid soon of what they look like driving. If you went with a higher K like
10 or 12 I would do 55watts just to get a little more output since those
bulbs are not very bright.
i hope you didnt have them professionally installed. its so easy man. i did
it on mine with no prior experience, just stuff that I read on forums.
Could I buy the HID’s for my 2010 Ford Fusion SE and then get it
professionally installed?
yeah it is a lot easier with the wheel off.
check out theretrofitsource. just bought some morimoto elite’s for my 2010
fusion and they’re awesome.
Did it the same way with my Morimoto HIDs, but i took the passenger wheel
off too. Much easier.
not sure if you got the hids yet but I did want to say if you have the 2011
you need to check if you have DRLs (daytime running lights). joer321111
brought up a good point. If you do have them the hids will not be able to
run on the low voltage that drls have. They will most likely flicker during
the day. Which is bad and will cause the life of your bulbs to be
drastically shortened. You will have to bypass the drl circuit in your
harness and just use the low beam circuit.
that is what i ment i thought all of them hade it guess not i just sold my
10 and got a 12 is yours awd
Nah no awd. I wish. After a long time of looking it was one of the only
used sport I could find. When I saw what great condition it was in I had to
get it.
not sure i believe the manual tells you otherwise the dealer can turn them
off. I had the same problem also and I was using a relay. The right one
would go out and then the left one. after a lot of playing around with
wiring I realized the ballasts were the problem. So I switched back to
halogen for know and I am looking for a more reliable brand.
theyre not as easy on the 2013s:(
Love the 2010 Fusion and your upgrades. Keep them coming!
i have a 2011 and both of my low beam started to flicker even with a relay
i think i do have drls how do i stop that or by pass them ?
Why didn’t you go with the 55w kit?
I share a 2010 SEL Fusion with my mom, and thinking about getting HID’s. It
does have the DRL’s. But you can’t disable them. They’re permanent. So I’m
gonna have to buy a special thing that will prevent flickering and so on.
the Fusion has dtr does this not matter
Are these the 35w DC?? I’ve been reading about AC vs. DC and it seems like
AC is the way to go?? I’ve heard many problems about DC kits with
flickering…
ofcourse just bring them to a shop and they will hook them up for you. but
I would check how much they want to install them first. Sometimes the give
you a better deal on labor if you use their HIDs
