+radcls01 radcls01, I cannot reply to your comment for some reason but I
hope you see this. I checked and see they make a kit for the rear which is
just like the bolt you saw in the video.

ChrisFix says:

+ff5gus I was actually hoping that rebuilding the front suspension
completely with the new control arms, bushings, ball joints, shocks and end
links, that the alignment would go back to factory, but it didnt. That is
why I got this kit. The knuckle/spindle could be the reason it is not
aligned but the bearing is fine so I am not changing that. Plus, I wanted
the camber to be adjustable so now it is!

Great descriptive and informal video!

Its a 2005 infiniti g35 coupe automatic, currently stock suspension, but
it’s on eibach 350z pro kits. So a 1.3-1.5 inch all the way around, just so
the wheel gap is cleared.

j charles says:

I don’t understand how there are people that give you thumbs down!!!
I congratulate you for your videos!!!!

josh tannenberg says:

Can you add these camber bolts to all 4 wheels? Because I’m -2 degree
camber currently and I need to fix it

Jason Busby says:

1:20 how to tell its a craftsmen

2010thewall says:

At 3:30 onwards you show the bolts and camber plates installed with the
small square in the plate at the top, you then tighten the nut up and at
4:05 it shows the small square in the camber plates at the bottom! so your
bolts moved around 180′! where abouts should they be while tightening ?

Anthony David says:

I have a question and hope you can help. I replaced the control arms on my
99 ranger and tried to get it aligned. They said they couldn’t adjust the
camber unless I had the bolts installed from this video which they were
glad to do for $350. I asked if I bought and installed these cam bolts
would they be able to adjust the camber when they do the alignment and they
said it would be an additional charge of $200 to adjust these bolts because
they have to remove the bolts and reinsert them correctly. Is there a way I
can adjust it myself because I also replaced both tie rods and lower ball
joints and don’t have the money to pay a mech to simply adjust them? I’m no
mechanic but your videos really helped me do this all by myself!

josh tannenberg says:

They come as a pair the camber bolts, do I need a pair for each wheel ?

Ephraim Camacho says:

Keep up the good work! Thanks!

Jesus Canchola says:

Is -0.75 a good camber for stance?

Gertie Craign says:

I can see the major benefit to replacing the originals with the new oval
camber bolt washers. I wonder, though, why the originals were squared-off?
Is there a way to know if there was some type of vibration problem that was
discovered during the design process, that will cause the oval-type cambers
to loosen, during operation? If you’ve had the new ones on your truck for
a while, now, have you noticed any loosening or re-positioning of the
camber washers? Or any increase in the need for alignment?

Btw, thank you for mentioning the “loose, then tight, then loose again”
feeling you’ll notice, when tightening the oval shaped nuts on the Camber
Bolt Kit. I definitely would have thought I’d misaligned the threads!

Anthony David says:

I called another shop and they said the same thing. That they have to
insert them and they’ll charge $250. Apparently these shops want to skip
foreplay and get in me with no lube. Ill keep calling shops until I find an
honest one.

Ricky Martinez says:

Hey had my control arms replaced by NTB on both sides and looks like I
needed to replace the cambers so the alignment would work, your video was
good help but looks like NTB put one of the stock camber bolts in the
opposite way when they where changing out the control arms. I changed out
the rest but that one they but on backwards just won’t budge. I took out
the bolt, the screw is some what loose but just won’t come out and there’s
no space to hit it out. Do you have any advice and it’s on a 96 ford
explore xlt the camber I can’t get out is the one on the rear driver side

Jesus Canchola says:

But would you be able to notice the camber if it only goes up to 0-.75??

Gertie Craign says:

Chris, since I’m replacing the old squared-off camber bolts and washers
with the new oval-shaped ones, do you have any tips for how to get the
wheels aligned well enough for the drive to the alignment shop?

Ron Huffmaster says:

Where did you get your camber kits from for $20? Thanks

Cole Magee says:

Are your rear shock replacement videos coming up soon?

Anthony David says:

Will do and again thx for the awesome videos!

Mr. Desert says:

ff5gus says:

So by you changing everything else on that vehicle now you needed to do
this to square it back up?

Thank you sir

Hey glad you created this channel keep up the good work, few questions, do
you have or will be making a video on how to do DIY alignment at home
instead of taking your vehicle to the shop? I know shops are more accurate
with fancy machines, but is it possible to just do your own alignment? with
only using strings to check toe and a right triangle next to the tire if
its vertical to check camber and do an adjustment. Also, when you lift your
front part of your vehicle, where the two front tires are off the ground
completely, should they be aligned as is? or are they off due to the sag of
the suspension.

The hands of a mechanic…you’re never going to be able to get that stuff
off your hands, man haha

Dan Mcconkey says:

I have a 1984 silverado and your vids are helpful. I also have a 3 series
BMW which most of my problems are bad sensors. I wish I could find a u tube
page that dealt with only BMW. Great vids though.

Bret Brennan says:

Amazing I see how you have most of the tools so you can do a 5 minute bolt
maintenance process on the 1995-2001 Mazda B3000 and/ Ford Explorer or even
a Ford Ranger
