Hi, isn't the flexibility a problem? I mean, if you hit another car very very slightly, usually that's not a problem. If you do the same after this repair, isn't it gonna break??

Omg..! With all that time and effort is not worth it. I much rather buy a whole bumper, paint it and you're done. That's primitive on what you have done. No thanks..!

I thought plastic bumpers were a stupid thing but seeing rust repair videos and comparing them to this…. I LOVE PLASTIC LOL

Excellent sir

Great job guys..! However, remember to wear a mask when you grind that damned glassfiber…other things too for that matter. Really, you only have one health.

I was very skeptical that this was going to be even remotely as good as it turned out. I'm not a body guy but I've been in the Auto industry for several years and have seen a variety of repairs. Many repairs similar to this look like garbage. But this was a very well done job. The only downside is the amount of labor involved just to save a few dollars on a bumper cover but I can understand why someone would do this. In the end you know you did a great job and save the customer a little bit of money. Great work guys!

justice montoya says:

Terrific work… wow you both did a very very good job.

Charlie Harrison says:

Was the man hours and material worth it? Wonder how much a replacement bumper would be vs the repair cost. On line the part is under $300. Had to be about $1000 for all that work and paint. Ebay, painted, that bumper is only about $500.

Larry Fries says:

There is a product called bulldog that's what you need to put on the bumper to keep the paint from peeling

Larry Fries says:

Here's the problem with Bondo on that bumper if it flexitive all the Bondo will crack

S197 Jet says:

Instead of using the fiberglass bondo and the 3m lightweight bondo would it be okay if you just use the lightweight filler?

JOGO says:

Fantastic Thanks

broderp says:

This would cost more than the $40 they are claiming, not to mention the time and labor involved. Bumper covers are flexible for a reason, doesn't this make the bumper cover rigid and prone to cracking on the first substantial hit? Not sure it's a better fix or any cheaper than just replacing the bumper cover to begin with. I found a Ford c-max bumper cover (new & primed) for $230.

Brian Chatham says:

Excellent Thanks! Great Work!
