FORD RADIO NOT WORKING FIXED FAST & EASY ON 2012-2014 FORD FOCUS, FIESTA, ESCAPE AND MANY MORE!

Hey guys, in this video we have a 2014 Ford Focus and the radio is not working! Only time, date and temperature work! But I couldn’t listen to music or the aux or anything! I checked the fuses and everything was good!

Well turns out it was our radio box that was faulty! So we went ahead and purchased a replacement one from an auto parts store locally here in Houston TX.

Long story short, the first unit we bought was defective!! It scared the crap out of me lol I thought it was a bigger problem!! But we went back and exchanged the part for a different radio and TA DAAA!! It worked perfectly and we fixed it right away!

The whole process took less than 15 minutes to fix!!

If it is in the my key setting it will only play the radio if you have your seatbelt on. I watched a tutorial about it, and the my key is programmed for teenage drivers.

Thank you so much for this video. Went to a wreck yard, found the bezel (radio control panel) and the silver radio box and got them both for $49. Thanks to this video I was able to swap em out in less than 5 minutes and I have my audio back!!! No popping no screeching!

Gennie Stout says:

I needed this so bad. I’ve been looking everywhere for an answer. Where did you buy your radio unit? I only see them online and I’d rather get one in person

Automotive Circuit Solutions says:

This is a very common issue. We've been repairing these ACM units for years. They all will fail due to an engineering defect, so replacing with a used unit is a waste of time and money. We have a lifetime warranty and a 24 hour turnaround time. Here is a link to our repair service. https://www.automotivecircuitsolutions.com/collections/radio-repair/products/09-ford-radio-repair

Hey I have a question…. my radio isn’t working I checked all 3 of the fuses it’s not them so I’m thinking it the radio if I replace the radio part will I have to have it programmed to my car and it is a 2012 Ford focus plz get back with me….

Anakin Jack says:

Please take the keys out of the ignition next time

Brandi Vanscoy says:

Can you just replace the radio to fix the issue as well ?

Jared Jones says:

If the radio is working and the aux option is not cooperating or staying selected do a vehicle healthier report by starting your car and holding the speak button and saying “vehicle health report” you don’t have to wait 60 seconds request it and after that you should be able to select aux without it returning to radio.

Kenn says:

I have a focus, I hate this damn car soooo much. That's what I get for being cheap and buying this shitty ass car. Probably my worst purchase decision ever. Every other month something breaks.

Joe B says:

you said fix, not replace the radio … how stupid.

Golden Darkness says:

I can't say this is a guaranteed fix, but what worked for me was taking all of that apart but instead of replacing the whole unit I just used air duster and blew out all the dust from the connections, I plugged it back in and put the pieces back on and it worked.

keneblana says:

You didn't 'fix' anything. You replaced the radio. Good R&R help though I suppose.
I own an auto shop, this is a repair or replace issue, there is no 'bandaid' fix unfortunately. We have a radio repair outfit who repaired a couple of these for us but the repair cost was roughly the same as a dealer replacement.

Dayana says:

I orders mine and got it installed the radio itself worked however the volume button isn’t, I can’t move the volume .. help ?

Xavier Rivera says:

It maybe something stupid for those who know how the system works but for the rest of us that was amazing hahahaha! Ty sir!

THEREALSHELLICE says:

What is the link where did you order it from

freuardo84 says:

I cleaned the wiring harness next to the fuse panel and it started working again
