Curiosity says:

Is it possible to put a strut in top side incorrectly? There are three
points but does it have to go in one way or another? Thanks for your input,
Ford Focus 2007 SES.

JOE DELUCIA says:

grate video . I did not know until I looked under my 2003 ford focus wagon
that the control arm and lower ball joints were one assy. good to know.

noel naranjo says:

totally off topic but how can i remove the drl in a 2009 ford focus SE? im
thinking of putting in HID lights but dont want them on all day. any ideas?

fishodorvagina says:

Does the full weight of the car have to be on the suspension in order
to torque the lower or upper control arm, if so, why?

DZEyoyo123 says:

Have you ever replaced front shocks on any of the Panthers from 2003-2011
year models, if so, is it easy?

DZEyoyo123 says:

Ford Panther platform is Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis,
Mercury Marauder and Lincoln Town Car.

Kevin Rogers says:

you do much diesel work? myself i work for GM, but i work on lots of
powerstrokes 6.0’s and 7.3’s, yet for the lovly 6.4:)

FordTechMakuloco says:

Yes I do plenty of diesel work, I know them well, I came into the Ford
world in 2005 at the height of the 6.0l So I had plenty of them to get
experience on. Then came the 6.4l for which less work came in but when we
did work on them we longed for the days of the simple 6.0l we used to gripe
about. Now diesel work is not so much with the 6.7l but we still get the
older diesels in even at customer pay from time to time especially with
winter ahead.

FordTechMakuloco says:

Oh ok. then it is very easy yes 2 bolts from the bottom and one nut on top.
One tip cut off stud on top of old shock till its flush with the nut, then
zip the nut off, you will thank me!

FordTechMakuloco says:

Never even heard of a Panther car, who makes it.

Curiosity says:

I enjoyed the video… Seemed to be dry rot. Quality control issue?

A concern I have is that companies as I see it here still don’t provide eye
protection. I have walked through many plants that make parts for Ford and
others and I can’t walk in without it. Please invest in this if it is not
provided. Thanks goes out to your coworkers and the dealership that lets
you put out this great information!
