How long was the whole process?

esoomreltna says:

You mentioned “transgel” Is that the same as assembly grease?
Your vids are exceptionally clear, well organized and very well presented.
Thank you for taking the time to make them.

Josh Whitmore says:

would this cause me to have oil in the tailpipe and burn some when
driving??

stang/f350/yfz/4x4 says:

Bro. I should of pay you the $30,000 I pay UTI. You teach way better than
any of the instructors. That school is a joke. Thanks for the videos. I
worked at a famous ford dealership and every one is out for them selves.
Back stabbing and doing dirty tricks to other techs.you are the only tech I
know that shows your tricks and are very helpful. Now I work on big rigs
for a union company. Way better life than working at the dealer.

Emily Priest says:

Great informative video. Keep up the great work. You know your stuff! Look
forward to seeing more!

Very nice video. I’ve got that pedestal leak issue and this gives me a good
idea of what I’m in for. I just went out and looked and boy is that last
clamp on the turbo waaaay back there. Can you give an idea of how much that
turbocharger assembly weighs? It looks like the F81Z-6N653-BA gasket set
has all the seals in it to do the job. Would you happen to know the p/n for
those red intake boots that you replaced in the video? Thanks…

scott steel says:

Fantastic Vid!!! Great video quality and sound! Torque specs, hints and
tip. Very well done, will allways look for your help when tackling unknown
projects on my 7.3 Ford.

jpgharley says:

I am not a mechanic. I know nothing. Does my 99 f-350 have a pedestal on
the turbo?..it leaks like crazy. cant afford to take it to the stealorship.
might be the hpop hoses also. should i do both at the same time? god im
scared.

ftffighter says:

Boy, Ford shoehorned that engine in there deep didn’t they?

Kevin Rogers says:

i try and comment on every video to help ya out dude.
and try doing a turbo on a duramac, the old LB7 suck but is much easyer
then the newer ones… ye…fun:) i wish they would give us a document to
remove the fucking cab

and that sensor is that in the turbo pedestal? it looks like a VGT
actuator, never done a 7.3 yet:) or a VT444

Maria Ebanks says:

Fantastic video

FIREFORD TEC says:

8hrs to reseal a pedestal takes less than 2 hrs, was just curious what a
dealer charges for it now! I worked as a tech for over 15 years at a ford
dealership but have since moved on to a different field.

Cody Ellis says:

Awesome ya I have to do it to my truck anything I need to watch out for ?
Or anything I should replace while I’m in there ??

Brian Underwood says:

Is it wrong that I just watch these videos to hear your air tools and what
not (even the click of a torque wrench gets me happy). I joined the US Navy
sep 2013 and haven’t heard of felt the feel of a real tool in over a year
and a few months…? Miss being an automotive technician. You make great
videos and are making me want to get back to working on cars and trucks.
You’re awesome!

FIREFORD TEC says:

How many shop hours due you bill for that job?

Mark Ferraro says:

Great video fordtechmakuloco man just a question this is VGC technology ? I
assume the EVP actuatator is PCM controlled to control the variable pitch
of the turbo is that correct? Great camerawork thanks for sharing mark
ferraro

Jonathan Altieri says:

Got to love the International 7.3

Dylan Wilkinson says:

Is it possible for the ebpv to leak?

brandon jesse says:

Man, that was a real instructional video. I appreciate all the attention to
detail and excellent footage! I feel like I have already done it now, so
when the time comes should make it real easy.

CW Weast says:

hay good video about the 7.3l what about the new 6.7 video how to fix it
like to now how more about it and some our diesels.

Cody Ellis says:

How long did that process take start to finish ? I have to do that to my
2002 as well and just curious

ANDREASRIAL says:

My 7.3 is a litle different, I do not have this nice bolts holding the
turbo to the pedastal, nice video and going back for more learning videos.

Pete Moss says:

Hi Brian –
As always you show very good video – showing step by step how to
dismantle a engine then putting it back together – keep the videos coming .

Jkreuter says:

Why didn’t you replace that pipe to on the passenger side that is broken?

LCCharlie says:

With the bowl of Wheaties you can’t go wrong! lol!

Thomas McCabe says:

Excellent clear video. Best I’ve seen with nothing assumed. Question: How
did you clean the engine? I have been cautioned about steam cleaning it.
Much oil on bell housing and tranny. Been told that it might not be main
rear seal. Just started to get serious about leaks. 2000 F-250 SD stick
shift w/113,000 miles in Mint condition.

Pete Le says:

Awesome walk thru!!!
We all appreciate your videos.

Travis Thompson says:

Nice Video! Very Well done and Very thorough!

magoo11111995 says:

I forgot to mention, I’ve got a ’01 7.3L

kschab123 says:

Is procedure going to differ too much from doing the same thing on a 94.5
7.3l?

Ctait twotwoeight says:
