Easiest and shittiest fix. It’s not easy by the way. I scratched my lcd
under removing the screen, it still worked though, but I go a digitizer
instead.

Emmy McFarlin says:

Thats cool, but what if any type of phone was like bent and a little bit
cracked underneath? From it falling? Is there any way to fix that? So it
looks brand new? I accidently dropped it riding my bike, and yeah, so…
Would those things be any problem…? And do you know how much that stuff
would cost.. like is it cheap.. expensive, the best place to buy those
stuff would be…

Mayra Lopez says:

I have a question. My screen was already broken because i dropped it but
it still worked and this time drop my phone again but this time the screen
wont turn on but i can see buttons light up and i can hear my rington when
i get messages but the screen wont turn on.. what could be the problem? its
completely damaged?

Ged Gallagher says:

That’s cool and all but dose it really only stay on with some tape or is
there a clip or something?

miles beltran says:

thank you..great advice

Gianluca Revenge says:

hey guys watch out! i tried this way, the result was that the whole lcd
came of with the digitizer, now i will have to spend more money into an lcd
unit, you need to heat the screen at first!

Alex Macdonald says:

I followed this and everything worked fine except i have to press hard on
the touch screen. I did not use glue. would it be best to take the cover
back of and use glue between the lcd screen and replacement glass?

Gopher Cheese says:

What if you didn’t use double sided sticky tape. Would the screen fall
off?

Michael Brown Sr. says:

how much does the kit with new glass and tools generally cost??

Thaddeus Childs says:

I cracked my galaxy, but the screen works & shows well. Would i need a
digitizer or a LCD screen?

Cody Hanby says:

that is a digitizer, not a screen lol
the screen is fine xD

Beant Singh says:

Hello, My galaxy S3 phone fell on floor. the screen is not broken but
problem is that it doesn’t display means it remains black and touch is also
not working. Please tell me the cheapest way to solve this problem.

Tom Ross says:

Hope I never need to do this, but you did a good job. Thank you. The more
you make these kinds of videos, the better you get and the fact that you
already did this once shows in an improved video… Good Job!

Steve A says:

I’m cringing at watching him pulling that blade towards his fingers, only a
matter of time before he slices through one. Basic safety never pull
towards your fingers.

sharon siano says:

I followed this and now my phone won’t turn on at all…..what else can I
do? It worked before I attempted to do this…. :(

Vee Sanchez says:

What’s that sticky thing called?

david glasgow says:

Hi speedy, the first time you smashed the glass and cleaned the old loca
off, did you remove the polarizing screen from the top of the lcd, if not
did you scratch it much when you were cleaning it with the alcohol thanks
Dave.

Fizzy says:

DO you really need the Double Sticky?

pierrelecelibataire says:

This guy is good, but attempting this as an average Joe is a **very bad
idea**. I learned the hard way. It looks so easy but so much can go wrong.
And the worst part? You won’t even know you got something wrong until
you’re “done” and you try to turn your phone on again. LCD could be
damaged, connections could be severed, and with all the sticky glue that
you’re prying loose as you remove the old screen, you can inadvertently and
unknowingly pull things out of place and stretch, bend, or break them, too.
Trust me: I was very careful. It doesn’t matter. All that money you thought
you were saving and you destroyed a $200 phone. /fail. I wouldn’t attempt
this unless your screen is already dead and won’t light up.

Resskytha Permata Sari says:

great advice! its sucks when i asked to Samsung Center they told me the
price for crackscreen was 1,2mil in indonesian rupiah. -_-

Tyree Thompson says:

Please. Gave. Me ur number. Soo I can call u

lincer556 says:

More easy to remove is to apply some hot air with a hairdryer or leave the
cellphone around 10 minutes bellow a old light bulb of 60w, this will make
the glue of the touchscreen to be less tough to handle

charsham23 says:

Please someone ANSWER i took off the screen and before replcing the new one
i turned on the phone but the screen is black and i see my buttons light up
and i hear my ringtone so did I damaged the whole LCD ???

Bruce Thomson says:

Thanks very much. I watched another vid – he poured Octopus glue onto the
face, and used a UV light to cure it. He said glue was needed to ensure the
touch would work on the keyboard, but I see no problem with your touch
ability, and your method seems far less intimidating. Also I see you using
ordinary rubbing alcohol instead of the special Octopus product. Again,
alcohol is easier. Any comment? Bruce Thomson in New Zealand.

Adnan Rahman says:

Will it work with s2

Pablo P says:

I stopped watching after he mentioned the razor blade.

nevaeh lightfoot says:

breanna bernett says:
